A PRESENT
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-33 NKJV)
We often hear, “I’ll be glad when this day is over” or “I dread tomorrow.” Obviously, these phrases are often lightly spoken. In reality we can find something good that we have either seen, heard or done each day that we can thank God for giving us, after all that is His present to us.
In Lamentations 3:22-23 Jeremiah says it is the Lord’s mercy and compassion that we have new blessings every morning.
Thank you, Holy Father, for loving us so much.
“Yesterday’s the past
Tomorrow’s the future,
But today is a gift
That’s why it is called, ‘The Present’
Today is a gift from God.”
