EXAMPLES AND HEROES
“In everything set them an example by doing what is good.” (Titus 2:7)
When someone talks about meeting heroes, we often begin to think about those we know. But most of us don’t have to think about too long, or look too far away from our friends and loved ones—those who give so much to others.
Who is your own special hero? A child answered that question this way: “Dad is my hero. I think it’s really something that he gets up every morning and goes to work for us, even when he doesn’t always feel like it or wants to. He doesn’t say much, but does a lot! I hope I can be like Dad.”
Real heroes are Christian people most of us would consider just “ordinary” members of the church, but they are not so ordinary to God. Have you ever wondered if anybody is watching your example? Are you someone’s hero?
