ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH HIM
We can’t live a Christian life with our own strength and goodness. It’s not possible. It is only through our Lord’s strength that we have courage and through His power that we know goodness. Surrender is our purpose and priority when we realize this. When we surrender our lives to Him we will grow and others can see our progress.
When we are growing, we are not passive or just taking up space in a building three times a week. We are growing through Him and with His guidance we are forming relationships through and with Him. Our worship, work, and fun times all reflect our love and obedience to the great and awesome God who knows our hearts.
Through Him, we can do all the things He wants us to do, but we always need to know it is not us, but God who makes any and everything possible. As long as we continue to get our strength from the Lord all things are possible.
In Colossians 3:16-17 the apostle Paul wrote, “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
As we go through our daily life, things go so much better when we have our mind and heart on spiritual things. How blessed we are that we can have the Holy Spirit as our Guide every day. We can pray and ask for anything and God will answer even our smallest requests.
God is so good to allow us to live in such a beautiful world and we need to realize how much He has done for us.
