Want a miracle? You have two! Your heart and brain!

A great scientist once stated that no invention of science could duplicate the miracle of a human heart or the miracle of a human brain. Invention of ‘Heart replacements’ though responsible for saving many, does not compare to the heart God created, and the workings of your brain simply cannot be replaced by human invention.

Your tiny heart will beat close to 37 million times within the next year. During the same time it will pump enough liquid to fill close to 200 railway tank cars. Every 60 seconds it circulates your blood through the 12,000 miles of blood vessels in your body and in the next twelve hours will generate enough energy to lift a load of 65 tons. Yet, some say they don’t believe in miracles.

Jesus seldom looked upon His mighty acts as miracles. To Him, they came as the natural consequences of being in contact with His Heavenly Father. Jesus considered the human heart a great miracle, but for a very different reason. Again and again He was dumfounded by the stubborn unbelief of man’s heart in the face of God’s revealed Truth and Love.

If you are a Christian, you believe in miracles simply because you believe in and have faith in Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God. With Him nothing is impossible.

Pray that God will create a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within you.
