PRAY FOR WORKERS
“Then He said to them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Luke 10:2 NKJV)
Sometimes even Christians forget the power of prayer, but yet it is the strongest force you can use in your daily life. Prayer brings God and man together. When you are together with God, He will give us the necessary insight and vision to carry out His work.
Truly the world is longing for the truth of Christ. But so few are ready to go and tell the story. All faithful churches would be filled with worshippers if every believer took the time to invite a neighbor and friend. Of course, if others are invited to church, then every believer needs to live close to God, to set a good example of faith and obedience. Many don’t attend church because too many so called believers do not demonstrated or show their faith to be great enough to live by.
Certainly everyone in the church of our Lord cannot be a leader, a shepherd, a teacher, a preacher or a missionary, but every Christian can pray that God will strengthen every leader in the church; every Christian can give as God has prospered so that others might come to know Jesus; and each Christian can encourage a neighbor and friend to visit the church—worship and learn about Jesus.
Pray that God will help you see the whitening harvest fields and give courage to those serving Him this day by bringing the Gospel of salvation to those who know not God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Pray that God will create in you the desire to serve Him so that others might know Jesus better.
