TRUST GOD

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

Trust God in every way, everyday. Never rely on self for strength, for this will often fail and can never be counted on in times of real need. Dedication of one’s life as the day begins, to the best-known ways of God’s life in Christ, and the remembrance of this dependence upon God throughout the day, will mean that life will move straight and true. The day’s close will be as high and wonderful as its beginning.

Practically, this means to remember God and ask Him to guide you:

In the decisions to be made.
In the words to be said.
In the relationships to be lived.
In the moments of idleness.
In the pleasures to be chosen.
In the work to be done.
In the suffering to be endured.

God needs to be in the midst of them all, and everything else that happens in your life today.

Pray that God will enable you, through forgiveness and love, to rise above the ways of the past. Ask Him to direct your feet in His steps and help you, through Christ, to remake you in His image.
