THE CREATOR
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
“Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.” “It is He Who made the earth by His power. Who established the world by His wisdom and by His understanding stretched out the heavens.” The world and all creation belongs to Him, for He made it.
He created man in His own image, after His likeness by “breathing into his nostrils the breath of life,” whereby, “man became a living soul.” Life of His life and spirit of His spirit.
Your great and loving Father in Heaven is ever mindful of your daily needs. He provides you with food, clothing, home and all the necessities of life. He protects you in time of danger and guards you against all evil. Remember, all He does for you He does out of pure, paternal, and divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness in you. Surely, for all His love, your heart speaks to you and says, “Today I feel honor bound as well as a sense of duty to thank, praise, serve and obey My Heavenly Father.”
Pray that God, the Almighty Father and Master of all things will grant you deeper understanding of His Holy Word. Pray that the light of the Holy Spirit will guide you to the praise and glory of God’s Holy Name.
